Counterfeit Currency and Stamps

Doha Sooq strictly prohibits the sale and purchase of fake currency, stamps, coins, bonds, money orders, bank notes and other securities. And equipment designed to produce such illegal items.

Any reproduced coin, as a collectible item must be clearly marked with the word “COPY”, “REPLICA” or “REPRODUCTION”. Reproduced coins are permitted to be sold, only if it meets the said specifications.

Contracts and Tickets

Before publishing an item on Doha Sooq, you should carefully read any contracts that you have entered into, with regard that might limit your right to sell your item online. Some items, such as airline tickets, have terms printed on the item, which limits your ability to sell that item. If you are distributing a company's products, you may have signed a separate contract restricting your ability to market the product.

Doha Sooq does not search for items that may raise these types of issues, nor can it analysis copies of private contracts, or pass judgment or take sides in private contract disputes. You have to be aware that posting items in breach of your contractual obligations could put you at risk with third parties. Doha Sooq therefore urges you not to list any item until you have reviewed the relevant agreements or contract, and are convinced you can legally sell it on Doha Sooq.

We provide this information to assist you in protecting yourself from liability and trading safely on Doha Sooq. It’s your sole responsibility to ensure the legality of the transaction. If you have any questions regarding your rights under a contract or agreement, we thoroughly recommend that you contact the company with whom you entered into the contract and/or consult with an attorney, prior to proceed with Doha Sooq.

Financial Services

Doha Sooq forbid the providing of financial services; including fundraising and funding for personal investment purposes, money transfers and letters of credit, loans etc.

Gold, Silver and Other Precious Metals

The sale of Gold, Silver, other precious metals, Diamonds and Gems is not allowed in Doha Sooq (with the exception of jewelry).

Invoices

The sale of any form value added invoice is strictly prohibited on the Doha Sooq site.

Non-transferable Items

Doha Sooq does not permit the sale of non-transferable items such as lottery tickets, airline tickets...etc.

Real Estate

Real estate postings mean, that buyers can contact the seller to get more information and express interest about the property listed. This portion is allowed for people selling real estate who want to get in contact with as many interested buyers as possible.

Stolen Property

It is strictly prohibited to sell stolen property on Doha Sooq. Doha Sooq strongly supports authority’s to recover stolen property which could be listed on the site, and insist action up on of those who are responsible, for knowingly attempting to sell such items on the Doha Sooq. Stolen property includes items taken from individuals, as well as assets taken without authorization from the respective companies or governments.

If you found out an item on Doha Sooq that you believe is a stolen, you are strongly advised to contact legal authorities, immediately. Doha Sooq 's attorneys will provide important records with regard for an official request from a law enforcement official. Please note that Doha Sooq will be obliged to co-operate in the investigations.

And if you’ve found that the images and/ or text in your postings have been used by another Doha Sooq user, without your authorization, OR that your property rights have been violated by such user, please contact the Doha Sooq team.

Drugs & Drug Related

Narcotics, steroids or other internationally banned material cannot be posted on Doha Sooq.

Accessories primarily intended or designed to use in manufacturing, concealing, or using a banned substance shall not be listed on Doha Sooq.

Prescriptions for Drugs

Doha Sooq does not permit to post any controlled drug or item that requires a prescription from a licensed practitioner (such as a doctor, dentist, or optometrist) to dispense. If you are uncertain about the permissibility of your item, please contact Doha Sooq prior to posting.

Unauthorized medical devices are also restricted from being posted on the Doha Sooq.

Ethnically or Racially Offensive Material

Postings that are racially or ethnically offensive are prohibited on Doha Sooq. Sellers and buyers must ensure that any wording used does not cause inappropriate sensitivity to those who might read it in return OR when they are offering or purchasing items or services.

Doha Sooq generally prohibits such materials promoting religious, cultural, political, racial conflicts and… etc.

Government IDs and Licenses

Items that claim to be, or appear similar to, official government identification or official documents are not to be posted on the Site.

Human Parts

Humans, the human body, or any human body part may not be listed on Doha Sooq. Examples: blood, waste, organs, bone, sperm, and eggs.

Except items made of human hair; such as wigs for commercial uses, are permitted.

Pornographic or Adult Materials

Pornographic materials of any kind are not permitted on Doha Sooq.

Including novelty sexually explicit items, including various types of toys, collectibles, materials in the shape of genitalia and primarily intended for adult buyers.

Spy Equipment

The sale and purchase of spy equipment, such as equipment and software used for tapping phones or hacking, is not permitted through Doha Sooq.

Uniforms and Related Equipment

Any accessory, equipment, document, uniform, identification or badge related to transportation, security, armed forces or profession, identical or duplicates are not allowed.

Exception is offered for authorized general souvenir items, such as hats, mugs, T-shirts, pins, pens that do not resemble badges. And if clothing, it should not resemble the same as the original.

Firearms, Weapons, Explosives and Dangerous Materials

Any firearms, ammunition, weapons, and parts or accessories are strictly restricted on Doha Sooq.  Doha Sooq maintains the right over what items are appropriate and may cause removal upon identifying as a harmful weapon.

Transparency of the Posting

Doha Sooq is the ideal site for business-to-business commercial transactions. Honesty and high ethical standards is what we represent. Postings on this site should clearly signify the item being sold.

Unauthorized Copies of Intellectual Property

Do not list unauthorized (pirated, duplicated,…etc.) copies of software programs, video games, television programs, movies, music albums or photographs on Doha Sooq.

Replica and Duplicate Items

Listing of duplicate, non-licensed replicas, or unauthorized items, such as duplicate designer garment, watches, handbags, sunglasses, or other accessories, is strictly prohibited on the Doha Sooq website.

If the products sold bear the name or logo of a company, it should be originate from that company.

Offering to sell or purchase replicas, duplicates or other unauthorized items and repeated violation of Doha Sooq 's Policy shall result in the immediate suspension of membership.
