ALWAYS A WINNER…WITH AL DANA
Doha Bank conducted its Al – Dana Bumper Draw for QR1, 000,000 on 15th January 2008 at City Centre. The event saw huge participation from customers. Along with other distinguished guests, two of the previous winners Mr. Zubir Bin Salleh and Miss. Sabha were also present. They along with Mr. R. Seetharaman, CEO Doha Bank and Mr. Abdel-Rahman Al Meer, Executive Manager-Retail Banking, cut the ceremonial cake.
The lucky winner of the grand prize was Amer Younus Mohd Y Kausar, whose happiness and excitement knew no bound when Mr. Seetharaman broke the news to him on the phone. Three young savers, Mohammed Ahmed Ismail S Majed, Asma Khalid Hurzuk and Mariam A. Latif M.A.H AlNaimi won QR 5000 each. Mr. R. Seetharaman CEO Doha Bank gave away the prizes in the presence of officials from consumer protection- Ministry of Economy and Trade and Doha Bank.
Congratulating the winners Mr. R. Seetharaman said, ‘we would like to thank our customers through these schemes and assure them that there are many more surprises in store for 2008.’ Later in the evening, he launched the Al Dana 2008 Scheme and said that there is always an effort to add more advantages each year. This scheme will have 10 weekly draws of QR 5,000 each, 1 monthly draw of QR 100,000 each and 4 bumper draws of QR 250,000 each.
Al-Dana savings scheme was the first ever programme launched in the market and now in its fourth year, it is still the only scheme giving prizes to customers both nationals and expats. Mr. Abdel Rehman Al-Meer, Executive Manager-Retail Banking said, ‘Al – Dana Scheme represents the commitment that we have given to the market and our customers.’
